Hoshiarpur:- On the last day of the Zila Parishad and Block Committee election campaign, MP Dr. Rajkumar Chabbewal issued a comprehensive message to the public, sharing the ongoing public welfare initiatives across the state and his future development priorities. Dr. Chabbewal said that people have always appreciated his work-oriented politics, and this public trust motivates him to keep working.
He said that the government will soon issue new ration cards to needy families across the state so that no needy family faces any hurdle in getting government benefits. For the economic security of women, the government has promised that a monthly assistance scheme of ?1,100 for women in the state will be launched in the new year, which will give them a strong economic and social foundation.
Announcing a big relief for farmers, Dr. Chabbewal said that tubewell connections for irrigation will soon be provided completely free of cost to small farmers. This will significantly reduce the cost of farming and will empower farmers economically. He said that the government's aim is to strengthen Punjab's agriculture.
He also informed that so far, 10,000 needy families with thatched roofs in Chabbewal assembly constituency have been provided with concrete roofs through a grant of Rs 13 crore, which has provided safe housing to thousands of families. He also clarified that all needy families deprived of this facility will be included on priority basis in the next phase.
In his final message, the MP appealed to all voters, "This pace of development is possible only with the support of the people. We must work together to ensure that every home is safe, every family has access to facilities, farmers get respect and women get economic security." With this message, he appealed to all voters to become partners in this development by voting in favor of Aam Aadmi Party candidates.
