Claims and objections under SIR2026 till September 12

Kharar (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar), September 11:- As per the directions of Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Mrs. Komal Mittal, IAS, the third phase of voter list revision under the Special Intensive Revision-2026 is being conducted from August 13 to September 12, 2026, during which claims and objections are being received.
SDM-cum-ERO, 052-Kharar, Shri Gurmeet Singh said that the claims and objections received during this phase are to be disposed of by October 8, 2026. He said that weekly lists related to Forms No. 6, 7 and 8 are being provided to the recognised political parties in the constituency in Forms No. 9, 10, 11 and 11-A.
He said that weekly meetings are being held with all recognised political parties, during which necessary information regarding claims and objections is being shared. He said that continuous coordination is being maintained with all concerned parties to ensure that the voter list revision process is completed in a transparent manner.
