Children made aware about regular cleaning and care of teeth

Ratia, 26 August:- The team of Lions Club Ratia City is continuously engaged in service works in various fields of social service. In this series, a dental check-up camp was organized on Wednesday at Government Model Sanskriti Primary School, Ratia. In the camp, dentist Dr. Sagar Mehta checked the teeth of the school children.
During the check-up, it was found that many children are not taking proper care of their teeth. Cavity along with blackness and yellowness was found in the teeth of many children. Dr. Sagar Mehta made children aware about regular cleaning of teeth and advised to clean teeth properly with toothpaste daily and maintain oral hygiene. A toothbrush and paste was given free to all children.
Names of children whose teeth were found to have problems were noted. School teachers were requested to call the parents of the concerned children and inform them about the condition of teeth, so that proper treatment can be done in time.
On this occasion, Region Chairman Lion Pradeep Bansal and Club President Lion Gopal Chand Kularia while giving information about the upcoming service activities of the club informed that Teacher's Day will be celebrated on 5th September. On this occasion, 10 teachers will be honoured. On 10th September, green fodder service will be done in Gaushala. A big service camp for Divyangjans will be organized in the month of October. While on 12th November, a huge eye check-up and operation camp will be organized, in which free operation will be arranged for needy patients.
On this occasion, former Chairman of Municipality Lion Vijay Grover, Lion Birbhan Bansal, Lion Bipan Bansal, Lion Raj Kumar Khandu, retired teacher Pawan Kumar Singla along with school staff members were present. Club office bearers said that serving the needy and spreading the message of health and awareness in the society is the continuous effort of the club.
