Books Sindhara was given by Vishwa Punjabi Prachar Sabha Chandigarh

Chandigarh:- Today, a function named Books' Sindhara was organized by Vishwa Punjabi Prachar Sabha Chandigarh at Kothi No. 1340 Phase 3B-2, Mohali. In this function, the main office bearers of the organization reached the residence of Bibi Jarnail Kaur, sister of Principal Bahadur Singh Gosal, President of Vishwa Punjabi Prachar Sabha Chandigarh, to give her the Books' Sindhara. As Bibi Jarnail Kaur is currently in Canada, on her behalf her daughter-in-law Madam Amritpal Kaur received this Books' Sindhara. 
On this occasion, President of Vishwa Punjabi Prachar Sabha Chandigarh Principal Bahadur Singh Gosal, Special Advisor and Punjabi lyricist S. Ranjodh Singh Rana and Advisors of the organization Balwinder Singh and Parminder Singh were also present.
S. Ranjodh Singh Rana described the ritual of Books' Sindhara by Vishwa Punjabi Prachar Sabha Chandigarh as very useful for society and said that with this, the honoured daughters and sisters will remain connected with Punjabi culture as well as with mother tongue Punjabi. It is mentionable here that Madam Amritpal Kaur herself, being M.A. B.Ed., is also engaged in the promotion and propagation of Punjabi and she thanked all the office bearers of the organization for the Books' Sindhara.
On this occasion, the family sweetened the mouths of all the members of the organization who had come by distributing sweets and said that they will continue to serve mother tongue Punjabi to further propagate this ritual tradition. The books that were mainly given as Books' Sindhara by Principal Gosal included 'Haldi De Rang Sanganan De Sang', 'Mere Punjabi Lekh', 'Sikh Itihas De Ajab Panne', 'Tallan Wala Sadh', 'Aao Likhiye Takdeer Desh Di', 'Merian Shreshth Bal Kahanian', 'Dipi Guthli Wala' and many more and he also asked the family members to read all these books with great love.
Speaking on this occasion, S. Parminder Singh said that these books given for Books' Sindhara will be very beneficial and invaluable for children.
