Patiala:- Basant Ritu Youth Club, Tripuri Patiala organized a monthly free eye operation camp at Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Eye Hospital. The camp was presided over by Santosh Kumar Lalwani.
Club President Engg. Aakarsh Sharma informed that in this camp, Dr. Asha Pritpal Kaur, Eye Surgeon, examined the patients and free lens (cataract) operations were performed on needy patients.
Club founder Rajesh Sharma Ramtattwali said that Basant Ritu Club, Tripuri Patiala has been organizing free eye check-up and operation camps every month for the past four years. After check-up, free lens operations are conducted for deserving patients, and they are also provided medicines and spectacles afterwards.
People from states outside Punjab also come and avail the benefit of this camp. In this camp, club members Harjeet Singh, Mehrwan Singh Mago, Harshpreet Singh, Dharminder Kumar, Nivan Nasra and Jagtar Singh also rendered their services.
