Australia weather 9 injured in hailstorm
Sydney- Unseasonal rain and hailstorms have disrupted life in many parts of Australia. November is usually hot and sunny, but this time the cold has not been pleasant. The bad weather has also made people sick in other areas, including Sydney. The daytime temperature in Sydney was recorded at 20 degrees, which was less than 10 degrees two days ago.
A dangerous storm hit parts of southeast Queensland on Saturday afternoon. Several people attending the 150th anniversary celebrations of the Esk State School in the area were injured in the hailstorm. Paramedics confirmed that nine people were treated by the Queensland Ambulance Service.
Several car windows were also broken by the hailstorm. A man in his 20s and two women in their 20s and 30s were also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
