Antidrug awareness campaign launched from Barandari Garden Patiala
Patiala:- In support of the Punjab Government's "War on Drugs" campaign, Sach Da Khanda Coordinator Gurpyar Singh and Coordinator Jaswant Singh Kauli jointly launched a comprehensive youth awareness campaign from Barandari Garden, Patiala. Under this initiative, an awareness rally and march will be taken out every Sunday to make the youth aware of the scourge of drugs.
More than 100 youth from across urban Patiala participated in this inaugural event, along with expert doctors from Government Rajindra Hospital.
Addressing the gathering at Barandari Garden during this anti-drug awareness campaign, Sach Da Khanda Coordinator Gurpyar Singh and Coordinator Jaswant Singh Kauli called upon the youth to strictly reject drugs and play an active role in nation building. S. Jaswant Singh Kauli emphasized that the youth constitute about 40% of the total voters and the future of the country is in their hands. He appealed to the youth to exercise their democratic right responsibly and support clean, drug-free and high-honest leadership. Coordinator S. Gurpyar Singh also motivated the audience and encouraged his colleagues to take this campaign forward.
Prominent personalities present on the occasion included former Principal Nirmaljit Kaur, Shri Hari Chand Bansal, Mrs. Harjit Kaur Rozi, Mrs. Jaswinder Kaur, Advocate Tara Singh Bhamra, Dr. Dhanju Ji, Dr. Bhatia Ji, Mrs. Ranjit Kaur and S. Nirmaljit Singh.
