Karnal, February 20: A special meeting of the Karnal Manav Seva Sangh's executive committee was convened to express heartfelt gratitude to Padmasen Gupta, a renowned industrialist and MD of Oswal Pumps and manufacturer of solar panels, for gifting a car to Swami Premmurti, director of Karnal Manav Seva Sangh, for his charitable work. A unanimous resolution was passed, expressing heartfelt gratitude to Lala Padmasen Gupta. All members also expressed gratitude to the generous individuals and organizations of Karnal who actively participate in the Karnal Manav Seva Sangh's services and provide financial support.
The executive committee officials and members also specifically thanked the commission agents and rice millers of the grain markets in Karnal district, who annually contribute rice, paddy, wheat, etc., for the daily community feast at the Manav Seva Sangh. On this occasion, Dr. Bhagat Ram Khandwal, Advocate, Vice President of Karnal Manav Seva Sangh, stated that all of the Manav Seva Sangh's services are run with the support of generous men from Karnal, the city of philanthropist Karna. Following the spirit of "no one is an outsider, no one is an outsider," Manav Seva Sangh is engaged in impartial and loving service to people of all religions and castes.
It is worth noting that the Manav Seva Sangh distributes prasad (offerings) of biscuits, juice, and other items along with tea every morning. Food and prasad are also distributed in the afternoon and evening for those in need. Marriages of girls from needy families are arranged from time to time. Medical camps are organized from time to time for the examination and treatment of patients, and free treatment is provided to those in need.
Every day, the Manav Seva Sangh provides free drinking water in various crowded areas of the city, including bus stands, railway stations, markets, and the Civil Secretariat. Giving information, Advocate Dr Bhagat Ram Khandwal said that the next medical camp for free check-up and treatment of all types of diseases of the needy people will be organized on 23rd February in the premises of Manav Seva Sangh with the cooperation of charitable doctors of Arpana Hospital Madhuban. On 15th March, a marriage ceremony will be organized for the daughters of needy families. Needy families can avail the benefits of the above services. Advocate Dr Bhagat Ram Khandwal also appealed to the generous and uplifting people of Karnal to cooperate as per their capacity for the services being run by Karnal Manav Seva Sangh.
