Hoshiarpur:- On March 15, at Behram Dana Mandi, under the Punjab Sambalo Maham rally, BSP Punjab President Dr. Avtar Singh Karimpuri, Central Incharge Chandigarh, held a meeting in village Thakarwal of Halka Chabbewal and invited people to join the rally in large numbers. On this occasion, Zone Incharge Chaudhary Gurnam Singh, Yash Bhatti, President Halka Chabbewal, senior leader Rakesh Kitty and a large number of BSP supporters were present. The residents of the area assured them of attending the rally on March 15 in large numbers. Karimpuri went to the house of BSP Taksali leader and prominent missionary writer Paramjit Jaili Thakarwal and inquired about his health.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Karimpuri said that today Punjab is standing at a critical juncture, but the government does not have any concrete policy to save the state. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party government has atrocities on employees and insulted women by lathi-charge and water cannoning on employees and women who are protesting for their rights.
Karimpuri said that no clear time frame or roadmap has been given for regularizing the unskilled employees. By keeping silent about the 16% DA installment due to the employees, the government has proven that it is anti-employee. He said that lakhs of educated youth are roaming on the streets and are forced to migrate abroad, but the government has only presented the magic of statistics in the name of employment.
He said that the drug mafia is more active than before in the rule of the government which is making big claims of making Punjab drug-free. The government is lacking any serious strategy to eliminate drugs. The BSP president said that the laborers of Punjab are still struggling for a self-reliant life. Farmers are constantly surrounded by debt and economic challenges, but the government has no program to lift them out of this crisis.
Dr. Karimpuri announced that BSP will not allow the interests of Punjab to be ignored, under the Ashi Punjab Sambalo Mahim, we will expose this lie of the government by going from village to village. The 'Satta Pratibha Rally' to be held at Behram will lay the foundation for a change in Punjab politics and the people will make this deceitful government run.
He said that the people of Punjab will definitely answer the lie that has been served to the people in the highest house of Punjab in the 2027 elections.
