A landslide at a mine in the African country of Congo 200 people died
Congo, January 31:- More than 200 people have died due to a landslide at the Rubaya coltan mine in the eastern part of the African country of the Democratic Republic of Congo. According to local authorities, the accident occurred on Wednesday when the ground weakened during the rainy season and the mine collapsed.
The governor's spokesman, Lubumba Kambere Muisa, said that more than 200 people were killed due to the landslide, including mine workers, children and women selling vegetables and fruits in the market. However, the exact number of deaths was not clear by Friday evening as the work of removing bodies from the rubble was still ongoing.
