SAS Nagar, February 8 (SAB) During a police encounter in local sector 71 today, a gangster was arrested by the team of the State Special Operation Cell. According to the information received, this operation was conducted under the leadership of DIG Mr. J. Ilanchelian. The name of the person arrested by the police is said to be Rajan Bhatti, who was absconding in two cases of NDPS and Arms Act.

According to the information received, this person was living in Sector 71 and was trying to escape when the police intercepted him. Meanwhile, the police team was chasing it. Meanwhile, the fleeing person jumped over the wall of a room and entered there and then jumped into the next room. Meanwhile, the police asked him to stop, on which he fired at the police and in response the police also fired, after which the police caught him and took him away.

According to the information received, no one was injured in this shooting, while the gangster got injured due to entanglement in the barbed wire during the escape and was taken to the hospital by the police. A revolver and some heroin are also said to have been recovered from this person.

According to the information received, the police had also arrested the associates of this gangster some time ago and were looking for his location. Meanwhile, after getting a tip-off that he was in Sector 71, the police reached to arrest him, where after a light encounter, he was arrested.
