Nawanshahr- As per the orders of the Director State Educational Research and Training Council Punjab and under the leadership of District Education Officer (SEC/ELC) Anita Sharma and Deputy District Education Officer (SEC) Lakhbir Singh, a two-day workshop of nodal teachers is being organized under the adolescence program at Government Girls Senior Secondary School Nowra.
On the first day of the workshop, Dr. Kishan Rai and Madam Mandeep Kaur ICTC Councilor from the Health Department participated as the main speakers. On the first day of this workshop, Naveen Pal Gulati made all the nodal teachers aware of the difficulties faced by students during adolescence.
He said that nowadays students are falling victim to mental pressure but they are not even aware of it, due to which the field of education is deteriorating and we will have to rise above these difficulties and brighten the future of the students. Madam Navneet Kaur Lecturer Bio scientifically highlighted the problems faced by students.
Madam Mandeep Kaur ICTC Counselor shared extensive information regarding HIV and AIDS and asked the students to inform the AIDS awareness number 1097 and also said that there is no need to panic about the HIV test. If anyone comes positive, then it can be resolved with medicine today.
Deputy District Education Officer Lakhbir Singh said that all the issues discussed in today's first day's workshop should be implemented in schools. After conducting various activities and methods, they should be recorded in the register, which will also be checked from time to time. He congratulated Satnam Singh District Science Supervisor for the smooth conduct of the stage and the program.
