Nawanshahr - The annual Ardas day and prize distribution ceremony of Sikh National College Charan Kanwal Banga was organized in the holy presence of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji with the efforts of Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder and all the staff. On this occasion, path and bhog of Sri Sukhmani Sahib was offered. Later, Rasabhinna Kirtan Sarvan of Gurbani was conducted by the students of the Music Department. Eminent social worker Mr. Inderjit Singh Waria (Chairman, Ek Noor Voluntary Organization Pathalawa) attended the event as the chief guest.
Lecturer Tarsem Pathlawa, Master Tarlochan Singh, Journalist Surinder Karam, Harjit Singh Jeeta and Inderpreet Jhika were also specially present with them. On this occasion, the Principal Sahib welcomed the personalities who arrived and said that it is a matter of honor for us to have a personality like Sardar Inderjit Singh come to this function. Because they have a big name among the eminent social workers of district Nawanshahr and always support the college as well. After this, the Principal Sahib highlighted the proud achievements of the college by presenting the annual report. On this occasion, Lecturer Tarsem Pathalawa while addressing the students said that the real performance of an institution can be seen only at the prize distribution ceremony and the large number of students receiving prizes of this college is a direct proof of this. On this occasion, along with academics, sports and cultural fields, students who achieved merit in NCC, NSS and excellent performance teaching and non-teaching staff members were honored.
  Students Jaskiran Kaur (Academic), Amardeep Singh (Cultural) and Gaurab (Sports) were honored with Roll of Honour. The forum was moderated by Dr. Nirmaljit Kaur and Prof. Gurpreet Singh. On this occasion, the annual report of the session 2023-24 was also presented to the public. Commemorative awards were presented to the guests. Guru's langar was served in abundance.
