Gold prices fell on weak global demand.

New Delhi, July 7 - Gold prices in the national capital on Monday fell by Rs 550 to Rs 98,570 per 10 grams in the wake of weakening global trends and repeated tax threats by US President Donald Trump.

According to the All India Sarafa Association, the precious metal with 99.9 per cent purity had settled at Rs 99,120 per 10 grams on Saturday. Gold with 99.5 per cent purity fell by Rs 500 to Rs 98,100 per 10 grams (including all taxes).
In the previous market session, it had settled at Rs 98,600 per 10 grams. Silver prices remained unchanged for the second consecutive session on Monday at Rs 1,04,800 per kg (including all taxes).
