
World Pharmacist Day celebrated at Rayat Institute of Pharmacy and Lamrin School of Pharmaceutical Sciences
Hoshiarpur- Rayat Institute of Pharmacy and Lamrin School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Railmajra, the prestigious institutes of Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab, celebrated World Pharmacist Day with great enthusiasm and pride. In line with this year’s theme: “Think Health, Think Pharmacist”, the event emphasized on the important role of pharmacists in the healthcare system.
Hoshiarpur- Rayat Institute of Pharmacy and Lamrin School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Railmajra, the prestigious institutes of Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab, celebrated World Pharmacist Day with great enthusiasm and pride. In line with this year’s theme: “Think Health, Think Pharmacist”, the event emphasized on the important role of pharmacists in the healthcare system.
As part of the celebration, the students participated in an educational tour of the library, where they explored standard reference books and attended an insightful presentation on various pharmaceutical dosage forms. Bridging the gap between theoretical education and real-world application, a special exhibition of pharmaceutical formulations was also organized.
The event was graced by Dr. N. S. Gill, Director/Executive Dean, Rayat Institute of Pharmacy, and Dr. Amit Sharma, Deputy Dean, Lamrin School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, along with esteemed faculty members. They congratulated all the pharmacy students and said that a career in pharmaceutical sciences is evergreen and very valuable and appreciated their dedication towards the profession.
Prof. Narendra Bhumbla, Admission Coordinator Pharmacy shared that admissions are open for the vacant seats in various courses like D Pharma, B Pharma and M Pharma in both the pharmacy institutes approved by Pharmacy Council of India, (PCI) New Delhi. Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab Chancellor Shri N.S. Riyat and Vice Chancellor, Dr. A.S. Chawla also congratulated the students and faculty for organizing such a grand event and appreciated the performance of the students.
The celebration served as an informative and inspiring experience, which motivated the students to embrace their future roles as essential contributors to public health and well-being.
