Chandigarh, August 27 - Haryana Cooperation and Tourism Minister Dr. Arvind Sharma, while giving information during the Question Hour during the Monsoon Session of the Legislative Assembly today, said that a transfer station has already been established on a temporary basis on the western bank of Brahma Sarovar. From here, the solid waste of Thanesar Municipality is being sent to the Karnal Processing Site on a daily basis.
He said that as soon as a suitable place is identified by the Nagar Parishad, Thanesar for waste management, this temporary transfer station will be removed. For this, an advertisement has been issued on August 20, 2025 and the process is in progress.
