Hoshiarpur- Rotary Club Hoshiarpur Central Press Secretary Naresh Kumar Saba while issuing a press release said that Rotary Club Hoshiarpur Central organized a special ceremony at Hotel Fine-Dining. In which PDG. Rotarian GS Bawa attended as the chief guest. The chief guest GS Bawa was given a grand welcome by garlanding the members of the club and other dignitaries present. Sneh Lata Assistant Governor and Yogesh Chandra Zonal Chairman specially attended this ceremony.
During the farewell of the immediate past president Vijay Kumar and secretary Amandeep Singh, all the members were felicitated by presenting them with a token of appreciation for the social service work done in the year 2024-25. The chief guest, PDG Rotarian GS Bawa, appreciated the work done in the year 2024-25. GS Bawa appointed Rajan Kumar Saini as the president and Dr. Harshwinder Singh as the club secretary for the year 2025-26 and also formed the entire team. Bawa Ji, while presenting his views on this occasion, said that the theme of the club has been kept as ‘Unity for Good’ and he further said that the new team will do more good work for the welfare of humanity. President Rajan Kumar Saini Dr. Harshwinder Singh assured that he will further accelerate the social service work by implementing more projects. The members of the club congratulated him. The chief guest was honored by the club by presenting a token of honor to G.S. Bawa.
President Vijay Kumar and Secretary Amandeep Singh honored all the members of the club by presenting tokens of honor and thanked them for their cooperation. On this occasion, the club provided Rs. 5100 to a girl and Rs. 2100 to a girl for admission in college and school. Wheelchairs were provided to two differently-abled persons.
During the Mata-Chintpurni Mela, the club organized an Ayurvedic free medical camp on Chintpurni Road from 20-07-25 to 1-08-25. On this occasion, Rotarian Bhumpidar Kumar thanked the club members and other dignitaries who came. The role of stage secretary was played by Jarnail Singh Dhir State Awardee.
