Hansi:- Manpreet Singh, originally a resident of Hansi and working as Assistant Information and Public Relations Officer in Haryana Government, has been selected in the prestigious Indian Information Service (IIS). This result was declared by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Tuesday. This achievement of Manpreet Singh is not only a personal achievement but also a matter of pride for the region.
Manpreet Singh is currently serving as AIPRO in Jhajjar district. He comes from a simple farmer family. His father Mohan Lal is a small farmer and mother is a housewife. Despite the limitations of resources, he achieved this success with his determination, hard work and dedication.
Manpreet Singh received higher education in journalism and mass communication and played an active role as a journalist in the region for years. His passion was to highlight the issues of society and report on public concern. Last year, he was selected as Assistant Information and Public Relations Officer in the Haryana Government and in the very next year, he proved his talent by getting selected in the Indian Information Service. Reacting to his success, Manpreet said, “This was not just my dream, but the dream of my parents, family, teachers and all those who believed in me. I believe that we should work hard in life without worrying about the destination, working hard with good intentions definitely opens doors in life. Selection in IIS is not just a career achievement for me, but a great opportunity to contribute to nation building.

Inspiration for the youth-
This achievement of Manpreet Singh is an inspiration for all those youth who have the courage to dream big despite living in limited resources. Especially for students coming from rural background, his journey teaches that for self-confidence, self-confidence, discipline and dedication are more important than resources.

Inspiration from uncle and paternal uncle-
He told that the inspiration to get selected in the Government of India job came from the family itself. His uncle Surendra Singh is an officer in the Intelligence Bureau and uncle Niranjan Singh has been a senior officer in the Enforcement Directorate (ED). He told that he always got inspiration from his uncle and paternal uncle to get a job in the Government of India.
