A high-level meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Rastogi reviewed the preparations for this international event here today.
The UMI Conference is a flagship annual event under the aegis of the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. The conference serves as a globally recognized platform for stakeholders to share views on emerging issues, trends, innovations and challenges in the field of urban transport and mobility.
Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Rastogi said that it is a matter of pride for Haryana to host this event. The conference provides a significant opportunity to showcase the state’s progress in continuous urban development, smart transport solutions and infrastructure innovation.
The theme of this year’s conference is Urban Development and Mobility Connectivity, which will focus on the critical interlinkages between planned urban development and smart transport systems, and will be attended by policy makers, industry experts, researchers and representatives from various countries, including India.
In addition to the keynote sessions, the program will also include technical visits and heritage sites, which will give delegates a glimpse into the region’s vibrant culture and urban transport landscape.
