Una, July 30 - Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal on Wednesday inspected the warehouse of EVM (Electronic Voting Machine) and VVPAT (Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail) machines located near Sub-Muhal Bagh, Truck Union.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner took a detailed review of the preparations related to the maintenance of the machines, security arrangements and management. He instructed the officials to ensure strict compliance of all safety standards and guidelines in the warehouse.
He said that safe care and proper management of EVM and VVPAT machines is the first condition for a fair and transparent election process.
Naib Tehsildar (Election) Ajay Sharma was also present on this occasion.
