Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar November 27, 2024: The last date for cursory correction in voter lists based on the eligibility date of January 1, 2025 is November 28, 2024. Therefore, District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain has appealed to all the eligible voters of the district to cast their vote by coordinating with the BLO at their nearest polling station or through Voter Helpline App for strengthening democracy.
In this regard, District Nodal Officer Sweep Prof. Gurbakshish Singh Antal led by Officer Incharge Civil Engineering Government Polytechnic College Khuni Majra, Campus Ambassadors and Voter Literacy Clubs in all educational institutions of the district are constantly motivating the youth to create new votes and fill the form online. Under this series, today the students of Government High School Landran, Government Senior Secondary School Mubarakpur and Government Senior Secondary Girls School Mubarakpur were made aware.
 In this campaign, teachers were made aware to get the votes of the students who have completed 17 years of age by 01 January 2025. Election Tehsildar Sanjay Kumar, Election Advocate Surinder Batra, Neetu Gupta and Himani participated in this team. Principal of Government High School Landran, Manpreet Kaur Sandhu thanked the officials and assured that every eligible voter will definitely be made to cast his vote.
