Maud Mandi - Maud Mandi remained completely closed today on the call of Punjab Bandh by Bharatiya Kisan Union and demonstration was held in Chowk situated on Bathinda-Bhawanigarh Highway, in which Kisan Union Sidhupur unit Maud Kalan, Bharatiya Kisan Union (Mansa) and many other farmer organizations participated.
Addressing the demonstration, leader of Pahelwan Karamchari Sangh Ranjit Singh Rana (PSPCL) said that the central government is hell bent on ruining Punjab. The central government is a puppet in the hands of rich people like Ambani and Adani. The Modi government at the center has proved this by privatizing government institutions like railways, airports etc.
Punjab, which always fed the country, is now being addressed as a drug addict. Punjab farmers are being harassed on the roads and the youth of Punjab are going abroad. All this is happening due to the wrong policies of the central government. Therefore, we all need to stand firmly against these wrong policies of the central government.
Apart from this, leaders like Darshan Singh, Jagdish Singh, Ramandeep Singh also addressed the protest. Thousands of farmers participated in the protest.
