Patiala, 09 June- The unemployed people, who are struggling for the recruitment of Multipurpose Health Worker Male in the Health Department, praised Health Minister Dr. Balveer Singh on Sunday 15 June.
A protest has been announced in Patiala. Union State President Harvinder Singh Patiala and Vice President Balkar Singh said that the Aam Aadmi Party had promised to make special recruitments in the Health Department during the election promises.
But during about 3 years, not a single post of Multipurpose Health Worker was advertised in the Health Department. While many diseases including dengue and chikungunya are taking precious lives in the state. Said that even though the Health Minister has given assurances in dozens of meetings.
He said that even though an estimated 270 posts of male employees are lying vacant inside the Health Department, they have been approved in the Punjab Cabinet meeting. But the advertisement has not been issued yet. He further said that in 2012, admission will be taken in all the institutes conducting health worker course in Punjab. The courses have been closed. He told that the unemployed are ready for a do-or-die battle.
On this occasion, Raj Sangatiwala, Nahar Singh, Lakhwinder Singh, Sahib Singh, Ravinder Singh Ajnala, Neeraj Kumar, Vikram Ferozepur, Balkar Singh, Harman Singh, Deep Singh, Jagtar Singh, Nahar Singh, Major Patan, Mandeep Jhunir, Harkirat Singh, Satvir Singh, Bhupinder Sunam etc. were present.
