State Managing Chief Commissioner Unkar Singh, at the conclusion of the state level camp organized at Tara Devi, told the Scout Guide teachers from different districts of Punjab about the importance of their country, society and environment. Encouraging them to improve security, he requested that more and more students and teachers should be made Scout Guides following the orders of the Government of India and Bharat Scouts and Guides.
District Training Commissioner of Patiala Ranjit Singh Mann, Secretary Mr. Jaspal Singh, District Managing Commissioner Jagmohan Singh and Dharampal informed that camps will be organized in schools to train students from July to December under the leadership of the Chief Commissioner of District Education Officer Secondary Patiala. He said that by giving certificates to the students taking training, they will be made good scout guides of the state and will be prepared for Governor and President's award in national level camps.
He said that the scout guides who receive the President's award are given employment opportunities by railways and government institutions. There is a special number and respect in the jobs here. He said that during the four-day camp, students and teachers will be honored as Cub, Bulbul, Scout Guide and Robber Razor.
