
Miss World 2025: Thailand's Opal Suchata Chuangsari crowned
Hyderabad, May 31 - Thailand's Opal Suchata Chuangsari won the title of 'Miss World 2025' here today. Ethiopia's Hassett Dereje Adamasu was declared the runner-up in the final held here. India's Nandini Gupta was eliminated before making it to the top eight beauties.

According to the organizers, 108 contestants from all over the world competed for the Miss World crown after a month of purpose-based activities, cultural and inspirational challenges in Telangana.
The winner Opal is a student of international relations. She is interested in psychology and anthropology and wants to become an ambassador. She has volunteered for organizations working in the field of breast cancer. According to the Miss World website, Opal has sixteen cats and five dogs as pets.
Miss World Chairperson Julia Morley CBE led the jury and announced the winner of the 72nd Miss World. Renowned actor Sonu Sood received the prestigious Miss World Humanitarian Award.
