Hoshiarpur- Keeping in mind the safety and health of children during the summer season, a seminar on the topic “Summer Care” was organized at Rayat Bahra International School. This seminar was held under the leadership of the school’s principal Rashmi Sharma, in which students from classes II to IV participated.
Professor Raj Kiran from the Nursing College gave detailed information to the students about the dangers of heat stroke and ways to prevent it. He said that excessive sweating, rapid heartbeat, nausea, vomiting and skin rash are its main symptoms. For prevention, he advised the children to wipe their bodies with wet cloths, drink extra water, eat light food, wear loose clothes and not stay on an empty stomach.
On this occasion, Principal Rashmi Sharma thanked Prof. Raj Kiran and said that keeping in mind the health and safety of the children, such beneficial seminars will be organized in the future as well.
