Nawanshahr - Continuing the 'Nasha Mukti Yatra' under the 'War against Drugs' campaign, on May 26, the people of Jindowal and Khamacho villages of Banga Assembly constituency took an oath not to allow the sale of drugs and MLA Dr. Sukhwinder Kumar Sukhi appealed to all the Panchayats to pass a resolution against drugs at their level.
Do not grant bail to any drug addict, so that with the cooperation of all of us, the campaign (war against drugs) can be made a mass movement and Punjab can again be made the Punjab of wrestling, akhadas, bhangra and giddha.
On this occasion, Sohan Lal Dhanda, War Against Drugs constituency in-charge Prabhjot Singh, SHO Abhishek Sharma, BDPO Adesh Kumar, Gram Panchayats and dignitaries of the village were present with him.
