Hoshiarpur- A free camp was organized under the primary cancer screening and awareness campaign in the Government Senior Secondary School of Kot Fatuhi town of Hoshiarpur district with the cooperation of NRI brothers, shopkeepers and all the residents of the town.
In which Dr. Dharmendra Dhillon's team including Dr. Jaspreet Singh, Dr. Abhishek, Dr. Amanpreet, Dr. Shruti, Dr. Prabhjot, Dr. Pooja Mahi, Harman etc. examined about 500 patients and gave them free medicines and spectacles. This camp was organized by World Care Cancer Organization in collaboration with Vardhman Threads Director Tarun Chawla. MP Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal and Deputy Speaker Jai Krishna Singh Raudi specially reached this camp.
On this occasion, he said that cancer is treatable in the initial stage and it can be treated with timely diagnosis. On this occasion, Dr. Raj Kumar threw light on the campaign against drug abuse and sought cooperation to curb drug abuse. The organizers honored the prominent personalities by giving them mementoes and medals.
