Dr. Sahil nominated as member of Hindi Advisory Committee by Home Ministry

Hoshiarpur- According to a letter issued by the Department of Official Languages, Ministry of Home Affairs (Government of India), renowned litterateur Dr. Dharampal Sahil (Hoshiarpur) has been nominated as a non-official member of the Hindi Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Labour and Employment in view of his literary achievements. It is noteworthy that Dr. Sahil has authored extensive literature in both Hindi and Punjabi languages.

Hoshiarpur- According to a letter issued by the Department of Official Languages, Ministry of Home Affairs (Government of India), renowned litterateur Dr. Dharampal Sahil (Hoshiarpur) has been nominated as a non-official member of the Hindi Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Labour and Employment in view of his literary achievements. It is noteworthy that Dr. Sahil has authored extensive literature in both Hindi and Punjabi languages. 
He is particularly credited with integrating the regionalism of the Kandi region with mainstream Hindi and Punjabi literature. Dr. Sahil has been awarded the National Award for his novel "Bioscope" based on the regionalism of Kandi and has been honoured by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam (Former President). Research work (Ph.D., M.Phil.) on his books has been done by several universities across the country. 
Dr. Many literary and social organizations and writers, including Drishti's Vision Forum Hoshiarpur, Culture Preservation Society Hoshiarpur, Vedic Awareness and Research Center Hoshiarpur, expressed happiness over Sahil's achievement.
