Hoshiarpur- Under the Shiksha Kranti Abhiyan in Punjab, MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa today inaugurated development works worth Rs 41 lakh in three government schools of Hoshiarpur Assembly constituency. On this occasion, he inaugurated new classrooms and other development works in Government Elementary School Piplawala, Government Senior Secondary School Piplawala and Government Elementary School Bulanwari.

MLA Jimpa said on this occasion that the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann is committed to strengthening the education infrastructure. He said that this time the government has kept a budget of Rs 18 thousand crore for education, which shows how serious the government is to give priority to the education sector. He said that these development works will not only provide better educational environment to the students but will also help the teachers to perform their responsibilities effectively.
The MLA said that the reforms made in the education sector will benefit every section of the society and will contribute to the overall development of the state. Brahm Shankar Jimpa said that the Punjab government will take every possible step for reforms in the education sector and will make continuous efforts to make the state a leader in the field of education. He said that this is just the beginning and bigger steps will be taken in the coming times.
