DC directs to complete PDA development projects at the earliest

Patiala, December 31- Patiala Deputy Commissioner Dr. Preeti Yadav today reviewed the development projects of PDA (Patiala Development Authority) and asked PDA, Municipal Corporation, Electricity Corporation, Drainage and other departments to complete all the projects at the earliest in coordination with each other.

The Deputy Commissioner reviewed the pending works of transferring 7 different sites of PDA to the Municipal Corporation, renovation of Heritage Street, Choti Nadi and Badi Nadi and other projects. On this occasion, PDA Chief Administrator Manisha Rana, Municipal Commissioner Dr. Rajat Oberoi, Forest Divisional Officer Vidya Sagari, Additional Administrator PDA Jashanpreet Kaur Gill and other officials were present.
Dr. Preeti Yadav chaired a joint meeting and reviewed the process of transferring Amar Ashram near Akal Complex, 15 acre site (near Gurdwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib), 3.65 acre PRTC site Nabha Road, 2.26 acre site Pocket B Phulkian Enclave, Commercial Pocket in front of District Administrative Complex, Phulkian Enclave, Commercial Pocket sites near Sher-e-Punjab Market to the Municipal Corporation. She asked the PDA, Municipal Corporation, Electricity Corporation, Drainage and other departments to coordinate with each other and resolve all the work in a time-bound manner.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioner, while reviewing the pending issues of Heritage Street, instructed the officers of PDA, Electricity Corporation and Municipal Corporation to give priority to completing the pending works of this project in a time-bound manner in view of the difficulties faced by the people. He said that the necessary process to obtain NOC from the Forest and Wildlife Departments for the pending works of renovation of Choti Nadi and Badi Nadi should be completed immediately.
