Badal, April 25: Major Dr Varinder Singh has taken over as Principal of GGDSD College at Kheri Gurna near Badal. Dr Varinder Singh is a renowned educationist and NCC officer. With an illustrious career spanning over two decades, Dr Singh brings with him academic expertise, administrative experience and commitment towards student development.
Speaking to reporters, he said that he will discharge the responsibility entrusted to him by the GGDSD College Trust with utmost dedication. He said that the college will be further elevated on the technical level, and various technical courses will be made available for the students. Along with this, scholarships and opportunities will be provided for poor students.
Earlier, Dr Singh has served as the Head of the Post Graduate Department of Computer Science and Applications at GGDSD College, Chandigarh for over twenty years. On this occasion, Dr Ajay Sharma, Principal of GGDSD College, Sector 32, Chandigarh, met with faculty members of the college. Those present included General Secretary Dr Anirudh Joshi, Dr PK Bajaj, Dr SC Vaidya, Dr SK Sharma, and Finance Secretary Jatinder Bhatia.
