
What did the local people comment about the National Lok Adalat to be held on 10th May.
Hoshiarpur- District and Security Authority - Work - Peace Law Services Authority Dilbag Singh Johal held a meeting with all the judicial judges regarding the National Lok Adalat to be held on 10th May and instructions were given to settle the cases to be placed in this Lok Adalat as far as possible. Regarding the cases to be sent to the Mediation Center, it was said that in case of any dispute, those cases should be sent for mediation after getting a compromise, along with this, the presence of private or government lawyer should be ensured in the cases going on remand stage.

Apart from this, information was also given to the Legal Aid Council System Office established in Yug Sen and Session Court and it was said that the Chief, Deputy and Assistant Legal Aid Council appointed in it will plead the cases of the accused and the cases of the plaintiff and the victim will be pleaded by panel lawyers.
For this and Session Authority-Work-, Peace Law Services Authority under the leadership of Dilbag Singh Johal, C.J. Janam-Work-, Peace Law Services Authority Rajpal Rawal held a meeting with the administration and managers of various departments regarding the National Lok Adalat to be organized on 10 May 2025 at the district level and sub-division in the new District and Session Court complex.
During this meeting, instructions were given to the bank managers regarding pre-litigation cases that maximum number of cases should be filed in this Lok Adalat so that the public can get the benefit of this Lok Adalat. D.P.O. was instructed to do maximum publicity in the villages during the meeting regarding the National Lok Adalat to be organized.
Apart from this, regarding the National Lok Adalat to be organized at C.J., the Incharge Traffic Engineer was instructed to direct the courts for payment of pending charges through this Lok Adalat and Paramjit Singh M.H.C. was asked to file maximum charges in the Lok Adalat. Discussion was held with the XEI of the Electricity Department. In the presence of District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission's health member Prem Singh Salaria and B.S.N. Pratham, a meeting was held with Junior Assistant Officer Ranjit Singh, Hardeep Singh, Gagandeep Singh, Mohit Kumar and Deepak Kumar Assistant/Divisional Manager Officers of Insure B Company. During this meeting, it was asked to file as many cases as possible in the National Lok Adalat to be held on May 10.
