SAS Nagar, June 9 - The poles installed outside houses number 816 and 812 in local Phase 4 are inviting accidents. These poles are broken from the top and their weight has shifted to one side, due to which they can fall at any time and cause an accident. Apart from this, a pole along the main road behind house number 816 has fallen on the wall of the house.
Progressive Welfare Association President H.S. Kanwar, Senior Vice President Karan Johar and resident Surinder Kumar said that they have complained about this to the electricity department many times, but it seems that the department is waiting for an accident to happen.
On talking to the junior engineer of the department, he said that an estimate has been prepared for removing the poles and they will be removed soon.
