Garhshankar- As per the training program given by District Commander Punjab Home Guards-cum-Additional Controller Civil Defense Ravel Singh on the directions of Deputy Commissioner-cum-Controller Civil Defense Ashika Jain, a Civil Defense training camp was organized at Khalsa College Garhshankar by Company Commander Commander Training Center Punjab Home Guards Maninder Singh Hira and Davinder Singh in the presence of SDM Garhshankar Harbans Singh and Tehsildar Garhshankar Sukhjinder Singh.
During the training, mock drill excise was conducted and training was also given to rescue in emergency situations. 100 volunteers participated in this training program. On this occasion, Sanjeevan Singh from the Red Cross Society gave information about bandages and first aid. Sector Warden, Civil Defense Hoshiarpur Pramod Kumar and office staff were present on this occasion.
