
Nirmal Singh's eyes of Bassi Jodha brought light in the lives of two blind people
Hoshiarpur- After the death of Sardar Nirmal Singh, resident of Chabbewal near village Bassi Jodha, his family donated his eyes for the welfare of all and brought light in the lives of two blind people. On this occasion, the eye donor's wife Mrs. Sheela Devi, social worker Kewal Singh Heer Sherpur Galind, Harmesh Lal, Balwinder Kumar, Surinder Pal, Mahinder Singh Heer, Prakash Chand and other dignitaries of the village were present.

Patron of Eye Donation Association Hoshiarpur Professor Bahadur Singh Sunet, President Manmohan Singh, Baljeet Singh Panesar, Shris Kapatiya, Dr. Gurbaksh Singh, Gurpreet Singh and Mrs. Santosh Saini shared their grief with the family and thanked the family for donating the eyes.
He said that the Eye Donation Association Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur has been serving humanity for the last 25 years and has made a valuable contribution in brightening the lives of hundreds of blind people and its main objective is to make the country blind. He also appealed to the Gram Panchayats to come forward to organize awareness camps for blood donation and eye donation.
