On this occasion, Chaman Singh (Project Director) first gave information about the Drug-Free India Campaign mission and said that we all will have to make efforts together to make a drug-free India. This should be started from our own homes first. We should have information about the history, culture and lives of great people of our country and it is necessary to give information about them to our children.
He made the school students aware of the problems they face in their lives and said that if any problem arises, they should share it with their teachers. He explained in detail about the diseases caused by drug use. He asked the students to always stay away from bad company. He said that drugs are not the solution to any problem. Drug addiction makes a person physically and mentally ill.
He appealed to the school teachers that along with school education, students should also be given information about drugs. So that students can be made aware about drugs and kept away from drugs. On this occasion, Mrs. Kamaljit Kaur (Councilor) gave information about the work of the center. She also explained in detail about the free facilities provided to the admitted patients by the center.
On this occasion, Mr. Sohan Lal (Principal) gave information to the students about the ill effects of drugs. He assured that awareness seminars against drugs will continue to be conducted in the school. School staff members Surinder Kaur, Manpreet Kaur, Neelam Kumari, Sunita Rani, Mandeep Kaur, Jasvir Kaur, Jasvir Singh, Sucha Ram, Balkar Singh and students of the school were present in this seminar.
