SAS Nagar, October 28 - Keeping in mind the problems faced by the residents due to the problem of stray animals which has been continuously increasing in the local phase 7 since last few years, Councilor of Ward No. 12, S. Paramjit Singh Happy contacted the contractor who caught stray cattle of the Municipal Corporation and got the stray cows roaming in the area of Phase 7 captured.
Regarding this. Happy said that for some time now, the problem of stray animals has increased a lot in HE, HL houses of Phase 7 and the sheds of Phase 7. He said that some persons are keeping animals in Sector 52 of Chandigarh, due to which these animals are left loose and play filth in Phase 7 all day long.
He said that in this regard, the contractor who catches stray animals, Mr. Manjit Singh was contacted after which Mr. Manjit Singh along with his team reached the spot and controlled these animals. He said that when these animals were being caught by the corporation team, the owners of these animals also reached the spot and before the animals were caught, they managed to send away two cows while 3 cows were taken away by the corporation team. He was controlled and sent to the cow shed.
