Mohali, 13 November 2024: Park Grecian Hospital today launched its new institute IMARS (Minimal Access, Advanced Surgical Science and Robotic Surgery). The institute aims to provide the most advanced facilities and technology in the field of surgery.
Renowned surgeon Professor (Dr) Pawanendra Lal has been appointed as the Chairman of IMARS Institute. Prof Lal is an expert in Surgical Oncology, Laparoscopic Surgery and Gastrointestinal Surgery. He has received prestigious awards like Dr BC Roy National Award and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Award.
This institute will use new robotic surgery technology, which will enable even difficult operations to be performed with greater precision and ease. Patients will get the benefit of faster recovery, less pain and smaller scars through minimally invasive surgery.
