
District level two-day training workshop begins
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, March 11: Under the guidelines of the Punjab Government, a two-day district level workshop was organized under the guidance of Dr. Dilwar Singh, Assistant Director, Youth Services, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar to make the youth clubs more active. On this occasion, Deputy Director Youth Services Punjab S. Kulwinder Singh attended as the chief guest.
Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, March 11: Under the guidelines of the Punjab Government, a two-day district level workshop was organized under the guidance of Dr. Dilwar Singh, Assistant Director, Youth Services, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar to make the youth clubs more active. On this occasion, Deputy Director Youth Services Punjab S. Kulwinder Singh attended as the chief guest.
At the beginning of the program, Program Officer N. S. S. and Red Ribbon Club Sardar Rajinder Singh Anbhol welcomed the guests. Dr. Dilwar Singh said that the main objective of the district level two-day training workshop being organized for youth clubs is to make the members of the youth clubs aware of the Punjab Youth Policy 2024 and to inspire them to do more work for the society.
He said that in this workshop, the youth will be trained to preserve the environment through clubs, not to burn stubble, plant more and more trees, preserve the heritage of Punjab, get rid of drugs, organize medical camps and organize blood donation camps.
Agriculture Officer Mr. Puneet and Mrs. Sukhjit Kaur made the youth aware of the damages caused due to burning stubble in the fields. Principal Mr. Harbinder Singh encouraged the youth to take Punjabi culture to the global level and shared valuable information about Punjabi culture. Mr. Bhupinder Singh of the Forest Department gave information about planting trees and their maintenance. Active members of about 40 villages attended this workshop.
