Nawanshahr- Shri Guru Ramdas Seva Society, Nawanshahr organised a blood donation camp dedicated to the martyrdom of Shaheed-e-Azam S. Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev and the annual memory of a very capable member of the society, late S. Kanwaldeep Singh Sethi (Mani) at Blood Bank, Rahon Road, Nawanshahr. On this occasion, S. Avtar Singh Sethi, father of late S. Kanwaldeep Singh Sethi inaugurated the camp by cutting the ribbon.

He encouraged the blood donors who donated blood in the camp and said that blood donation is the biggest donation. He appreciated the organisers for organising a blood donation camp dedicated to the martyrdom of the martyrs and said that every person should keep donating blood. He said that donating blood does not cause any kind of weakness but keeps the body healthy.
He said that instead of flowing in the drains, blood should flow in the veins of the human being so that we can save precious human lives. He said that on happy occasions trees should be planted and on the other hand camps should be organised to contribute to blood donation campaign. Society president Sukhwinder Singh Thandi said that this effort was made by him with the help of city residents and many other organizations in which 30 units of blood were collected which was collected by Blood Bank Nawanshahr.
All the blood donors who arrived on this occasion were felicitated with certificates and medals while the gentlemen who helped were felicitated with special mementoes. Amarjit Singh Khalsa, while donating blood for the 28th time, said that blood donation is considered a great donation because it can save a precious human life.
On this occasion, president Sukhwinder Singh Thandi, Amarjit Singh Khalsa, Karamjit Singh Sodhi, Gurpreet Singh Sahlo, Jaswinder Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Avtar Singh Sethi, Sukhpreet Singh Narula, Jatinder Singh, manager Manmeet Singh and blood bank staff were present.
