
Govt should pay 5000 rupees per month honorarium to Nambardars - Nambardar Union
Nawanshahr - The meeting of Nambadar Union was held today at Tehsil Complex under the chairmanship of President Ranjit Singh. In which many Nambardars including Sewa Singh Nambardar Dabawala, Sukhwinder Singh, Amrik Singh, Suba Singh, Jaimal Das, Jaswant Singh, Karnail Singh etc. participated.

Addressing the meeting, Sewa Singh demanded that the Punjab government should pay Rs 5000 per month for the honorarium of the number dars, that the number dars should be confirmed, bus fare should be waived, rooms should be arranged for the number dars to sit in the tehsil and come to the tehsil complex. The government officials should respect the numbered ones with full respect. He said that if the government does not pay attention to our above legitimate demands, then the Nambardars will be forced into a large-scale struggle in Punjab.
