Jalandhar- The 26th Annual Prize Distribution Ceremony was celebrated with great pomp and show at APJAY Institute of Management and Engineering Technical Campus, Rama Mandi (Jalandhar). The ceremony was organized under the guidance of Sushma Paul Barlia and Neha Barlia.
Ojasvi Alankar (Additional Chief Administrator, GLADA Ludhiana) was the chief guest on the occasion. Sucharita Sharma and many other renowned scholars and academicians were also present at the ceremony.
Shri Sanjeev Kumar, President NGO A4C Dasuha, attended as the special guest, which further added to the significance of the ceremony.
The program began with the welcome address by Director Rajesh Bagga. He presented the annual report and gave information about the academic achievements, industry collaboration, placements and collaborative activities of the institute. He also appreciated the role of leadership in the progress of the institution and highly appreciated the social contribution of Sanjeev Kumar.
During the keynote address, Dr. Neha Barlia inspired the students about the importance of innovation, adaptability and value-based education.
On this occasion, more than 300 students were honored for their excellent performance in academic, sports, cultural and inter-college competitions. Nakul Kohli (MBA) was awarded the title of Mr. Pinnacle 2024 and Arushi Suri (B.Tech CSE) was awarded the title of Miss Pinnacle.
In his address, the chief guest Ojasvi Alankar gave the message of “Sheelam Param Bhushanam” (Character is the greatest jewel) and motivated the students to move forward in life with honesty, discipline and humility.
During the function, prizes and certificates were distributed by the chief guest, Dr. Sucharita Sharma and Director Dr. Rajesh Bagga.
The colourful cultural programme was also a special attraction of the function, in which Saraswati Vandana, musical performances, group dance and Giddha enthralled the audience. Finally, Dr. Anu Sahi presented the vote of thanks and the function was concluded.
