Nawanshahr, August 17- Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab celebrated the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami with great enthusiasm by organizing a vibrant ‘Gokul Gram Mahotsav’ on its campus. The celebration was marked by devotional spirit, cultural richness and active participation of students, faculty and staff, which showcased the inclusive and diverse environment of the university.
Under the leadership of Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, Program Coordinator, and presided over by esteemed members of the university, the festival created a vibrant atmosphere filled with joy and unity. The celebration included devotional songs, captivating dance performances, and the highlight of the day – an exciting ‘Dahi Handi Matki Phod’ competition, where students showcased both teamwork and enthusiasm.
Reflecting the pan-India spirit of Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab, students from over 20 states across the country participated in the festivities. The winning teams, which included both boys and girls, were awarded cash prizes in recognition of their enthusiastic participation.
Shri Nirmal Singh Riyat, Chancellor Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab, congratulated the winners and lauded the organizing team, emphasizing the role of such events in promoting intercultural understanding and academic curiosity.
