Garhshankar (Hari Krishan Gangar):- World Mental Health Day was observed at Community Health Centre (CHC) Binewal, Hoshiarpur district, under the leadership of Dr. Nirmal Kumar, Senior Medical Officer (SMO), in accordance with the directions of Dr. Mandeep Kamal, Civil Surgeon, Hoshiarpur. On this occasion, patients visiting the hospital were made aware of the importance of mental health.
The patients were informed that taking care of mental health is as important as maintaining physical health. Avoiding stress, getting adequate sleep, eating a balanced diet and discussing personal problems with family members are beneficial for mental well-being. If anyone experiences persistent mental distress, they can visit CHC Binewal, consult a doctor and receive the necessary support.
