Karnal, July 14:- DC Dr. A district level task force meeting was organized in the auditorium of the Small Secretariat under the chairmanship of Anand Kumar Sharma. He directed the officials that illegal colonies should not be allowed to flourish in the district. Keep a close watch on such people who do not obey even after repeated explanations, action should be taken against them.
In the meeting, DTP Gunjan Verma said that 33 illegal colonies and constructions of the controlled area-urban area of ??the district were demolished from March to June under the demolition program on behalf of the department. He said that during this period fresh show cause notices were sent to 13, 2 were sent to the police department to file an FIR and recovery notices were sent to 4. He said that the expenses incurred during the demolition of illegal colonies should be recovered soon through the concerned Tehsildar.
DTP Gunjan Verma said that regular action is being taken against illegal colonies and illegal constructions by the District Town Planning Department. No kind of negligence is done in this work. Rather action is taken against them. Cases are also registered against the culprits in this regard.
SDM Devendra Sharma, DSP Rajeev Kumar, Executive Engineer of Public Works Department Rajkumar, District Forest Officer Naval Kishore, Executive Engineer of Electricity Department, Municipal Corporation Officer, Incharge of Enforcement Station were also present in the meeting.
