Haryana/Hisar: Vikas Lathar, a talented youth and yoga instructor from Desh Khera village in the Julana region of Haryana, has brought pride to India by winning two gold medals at the International Yogasan Championship. His magnificent achievement has created an atmosphere of joy across Desh Khera village, the Julana region, and within the Lathar family. Family members stated that Vikas Lathar delivered an outstanding performance and secured two gold medals at the International Yogasan Championship held in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, from June 4 to June 8. With this achievement, he has brought honor not only to his family and region but to the entire nation on the international stage.
Vikas Lathar’s sister, Dr. Pinky Devi, mentioned that Vikas has been dedicated to yoga since childhood and has previously won numerous medals in various competitions. She remarked that winning two gold medals at an international competition is the result of years of hard work, discipline, and perseverance. This achievement stands as proof that success is inevitable with true dedication and consistent effort.
Vikas’s father, Jagdish Lathar, said that his son's hard work, perseverance, and dedication serve as a source of inspiration for the youth. He stated that Vikas has proven through his performance that if one has a clear goal and puts in consistent effort, success can be achieved even at the international level.
Vikas’s uncle, Pratap Lathar, shared that there is an atmosphere of great enthusiasm in the village due to this historic achievement. Describing it as a matter of pride for the region, villagers noted that Vikas has inspired the youth to excel in the fields of sports and yoga.
