Una, September 5: The NMT road (between kilometer markers 66/700 and 66/900) near CHC Daulatpur Chowk in the Gagret subdivision will remain temporarily closed to traffic from September 6 to September 20 (15 days). However, half of the roadway will remain open for vehicular movement.
Una Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal has issued orders to this effect under Sections 115 and 116 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. These orders have been issued to facilitate the speedy and smooth execution of road repair and strengthening work. The Deputy Commissioner has directed the concerned officials to inform the public about the closure and to install advance signage providing details regarding route diversions.
