Hoshiarpur:- Vasant Panchami was celebrated with great enthusiasm, colorful cultural spirit and active participation of students at IK Gujral Punjab Technical University, Hoshiarpur campus. On this occasion, the campus atmosphere was filled with happiness and enthusiasm.
The function was inaugurated by the Director of the institution, Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Chawla and Campus Coordinator, Dr. Sunil Kumar Mahla. Both the dignitaries made the students aware of the importance of Vasant Panchami and described this festival as a symbol of knowledge, wisdom and new beginnings.
While joining in the joy of the festival, Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Chawla and Dr. Sunil Kumar Mahla made the function even more colorful and memorable by flying kites along with the students. This gave a beautiful vision of mutual understanding and friendship between the teachers and the students.
The prominent teachers present at the function included Dr. Amit Bansal, Dr. Brijesh Bakaria, Dr. Amit Handa, Dr. Ranjit Singh, Dr. Ajay Kumar Verma, Dr. Sonu Bala Garg, Dr. Rinku Walia, Dr. Kulwinder Singh Parmar and Mr. Gurminder Singh along with other faculty members.
Apart from this, Mr. Neeraj Sharma, Mr. Rajinder Mahe, Mr. Puneet, Mr. Kulbir, Mrs. Jatinder Kaur and Miss Manjit along with other staff members also attended the function. Security personnel were also present during the function and all the arrangements were made smoothly.
Rangoli competitions, kite flying and other cultural activities were organized by the students to celebrate Vasant Panchami. Colorful rangolis and kites flying in the sky filled the campus with beauty and enthusiasm.
The ceremony concluded with a message of happiness, unity and preservation of cultural values, which reflects the university's commitment to the all-round development of students.
