Mansa:- Under the directives of State Organizing Commissioner Onkar Singh and the leadership of District Organizing Commissioner Darshan Singh Bareta, a four-day Tritiya Sopan Scout and Guide Testing Camp was successfully organized by the Bharat Scouts and Guides Punjab at S. Chetan Singh Sarvhitkari Senior Secondary Vidya Mandir, Mansa. Principal Jagdeep Kumar Patial informed that on the first day, Scout Master Naveen Kumar trained the campers on the history of scouting, prayer, flag song, pledge, rules, making estimates, etc., and covered the syllabus from Pravesh to Tritiya Sopan. 
On the second day, Scout Master Des Raj Singh conducted a practical session on the types of knots and making gadgets through lashing using them. Darshan Bareta conducted practical training for the patrol system, first aid, patrol-in-council, troop-in-council, and court of honor. He inspired the students to become responsible citizens by adhering to scouting rules in life. 
On the final day, while inspecting the patrol huts, Principal Patial asked questions to the patrol leaders and praised their work. The participants thoroughly enjoyed the wide games and yells organized during the camp. Presenting the camp report, the patrol leaders shared their experiences regarding the time spent and the work done during the camp. 
Dr. Baldev Raj Bansal, President of Sarvhitkari Vidya Mandir, praised the work of the campers and said that if such camps are organized continuously, it boosts the morale of the students and fulfills the dream of imagining a beautiful society. Six scouts from Government Middle School, Bhai Desa, also participated in the camp. A cultural program was presented during the closing ceremony of the camp.
